Waterproofing of buildings with sheet membranes is becoming more and more important in the field of preservation of structures. The main advantages are the uniform layer thickness and the immediate waterproofing effect. The base of our self-adhesive waterproofing membranes in the Ceresit BT range is bitumen with a high proportion of rubber contents which provides very good adhesion and an extreme elasticity of the membranes. Our products are ideal for waterproofing concrete, masonry and wood surfaces and have a multitude of application fields: e.g. for foundations, basements, balcony/terraces, floors and garages.

Since it is our goal to offer you all products necessary to install waterproofing systems from one source, we also offer the necessary accessories. Materials, for example, which are required for the functionality of a waterproofing system or for the fulfillment of the DIN guidelines in Germany. This includes fixing tapes and special corners for our self-adhesive membranes, reinforcing materials for areas which are in danger of cracking and a special waterproofing system for pipes.

Our single component, long lasting, permanently elastic, polyurethane-based waterproofing coatings are used for waterproofing of patios, roofs and balconies; under tile wet areas, foundation and foundation walls, flowerpots, water wells, water tanks and water-transport pipes against water.

Our silicone-based products originate from a well-established and highly-valued silicone sealants technology. A successful transfer has allowed us to create an innovative range of water-based silicone coatings, ideal for waterproofing and repairing just about any type of roof.

All kinds of cement based coatings, either rigid or very flexible, used as waterproofing solution for building foundations, basements, balcony/ terraces, bathrooms, garages, tunnels and water retaining structures such as a water tanks, water - treatment stations, swimming pools and dams.

Restoration plasters by Ceresit have been successfully applied for decades in the restoration of salt and moisture burdened masonry. The properties of these plasters were derived from the requirements on the restoration plasters which first of all have to allow the masonry to dry. Furthermore, they must have a high porosity and they must be hydrophobic in combination with a good resistance to salts.

Through the use of Ceresit waterproofing additives in mineral mortars and sealing slurries, these products can be considerably improved in their characteristics. Depending on the individual product, these building material systems cause an improvement of the watertightness or they act elastifying. Besides that, they prevent the premature damage of freshly applied mineral products due to rapid evaporation of the water contained in the fresh product on dry surfaces. Ceresit concrete and mortar additives are characterized by their universal applicability.
