Anti-slip system for carpet tiles

The great advantage of loose-lay carpet tiles is that worn or damaged tiles can be easily and quickly replaced. However, a common disadvantage is the poor bond between tile and substrate. Anti-slip system, with a liquid bond enhancer for the substrate, is a clean solution. No more slipping, shifting or tripping. And yet the tiles can be easily lifted if required.

Application

Substrate preparation

The substrate must be load-bearing and can consist of dry screed elements, calcium sulfate screed, mastic asphalt screed or chipboards.

Floor levelling

Apply DA Floor Levelling Compound on the primed screed to provide a level surface.

Installation of flooring

Apply T 425 Tackifier by roller DIN-conforming substrates. Wait until the film has completely dried. Then place the loose-lay carpet tiles on the bond-enhanced surface.
