The render and skim coat Ceresit CT 126 is designed to cover traditionally plastered surfaces and concrete surfaces. The finishing may be performed traditionally by polishing with abrasive paper or by smoothing with the iron trowel, shortly before the material applied on the wall hardens. Ceresit CT 126 allows levelling the surfaces by applications up to 10 mm in a single layer. The surface coated with Ceresit CT 126 shall become perfectly smooth and matt white.

How to apply

Step 1

CT 126 may be used on dry, dense, rough and clean surfaces, free of substances which could reduce adhesion (fats, bitumens, dust).

Step 2

Ceresit CT 126 shall be introduced in the measured volume of clean, clear, cold water and shall be stirred by a paddle mixer until an uniform, lump free mass isobtained. The stirring shall be repeated after 3 - 5 minutes.

Step 3

The Ceresit CT 126 Render and skim coat shall polishing plaster coat shall be applied in an uniform layer on the substrate, using the iron trowel. After drying the surface may be polished with abrasive paper.  See more details for the application of the product in the Technical Data Sheet.
