CERESIT® CT 7 is used in preparation for priming absorbent substrates such as: concrete, traditional cement plasters and cement-lime, cellular concrete. The use of CT 7 is especially recommended for gypsum and aerated concrete substrates. CT 7 can be used inside and outside buildings, among others before fixing ceramic tiles, filling, applying putty, painting, wallpapering or fixing thermal insulation boards. Available pack size: 1 l and 5 l.
Shake the content of the CERESIT CT 7 package several times. Gypsum substrates and strong paint coats are necessary to sand with coarse sandpaper and thoroughly clean and remove dust. In places of algae growth and mould decomposition, a fungicide should be used.
Apply the prepared CERESIT CT 7 Universal primer onto the substrate with a brush or roller. CT 7 dries in approx. 2 hours. If the substrate is still absorbent after drying, then the priming operation should be repeated. Wash tools and fresh splashes with water.
Substrates primed with CERESIT CT 7 must be dry, load-bearing and free from substances that reduce adhesion: fats, bitumen, dusts, etc. Dirt and weak layers must be removed. This also applies to existing adhesive paints that need to be scraped off and wash off with water.
CERESIT CT 7 is a Universal primer for priming substrates before: fixing ceramic tiles and slabs, thermal insulation, painting, wallpapering, speckling. CT 7 improves significantly substrate adhesion, it is fast drying and eco-friendly.
