Description

CERESIT® CT 22 cement-lime plaster is used for machine or manual application of expeditions, plastering primers inside and outside rooms, newly built and renovated buildings. It is also used in rooms exposed to moisture, such as bathrooms, kitchens, laundries, basements, etc. For application on absorbent substrates, and also on raw walls made of ceramic and lime-sand elements and on concrete, cement, cement-lime and gypsum plasters. For single-layer plasters up to 40 mm thick.Available pack size: 30kg.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION FOR APPLICATION OF CERESIT CT 22

CERESIT CT 22 adheres to all solid, load-bearing, clean, dry and damp surfaces that are free of separating substances. Unstable zones must be completely removed mechanically. The surface must have a rough, porous and non-slip structure.

MIXING OF CERESIT CT 22

Pour the contents of the package into a measured amount of clean, cool water and mix until a homogeneous mass is obtained. It is most convenient to mix CERESIT CT 22 using a drill with a mixer or in a concrete mixer. In the case of machine application, mix the plaster in the plastering unit.

APPLICATION OF CERESIT CT 22

Apply the plaster on the prepared substrate with a trowel or plastering unit and smooth it perpendicularly to the direction of application with a metal trowel or a long float. Then, the surface should be carefully levelled (cut) with a trapezoidal batten. After the material has set, depending on the intended end result, it can be trowelled with a foam polystyrene float, then with a felt or fine sponge float.
