Product Description

CERESIT® CT 174 MACHINE is dedicated for machine application, which combines the good points of silicate and silicone plaster. It is vapour permeable, of low absorption and dirt resistant. Product is used for making thin-layer plasters on concrete substrates, traditional plasters, gypsum substrates, chipboards. It is raccomended to apply CT 174 as facade plaster within CERESIT ETICS with the application of EPS-boards and MW boards. Thanks to its machine application, it required less effort and short time. Available pack size: 25 kg

How to Use

CERESIT CT 174 MACHINE SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

CERESIT CT 174 MACHINE can be applied on smooth, carrying, dry, clean substrates free from grease, bitumen, dust and other substances decreasing adhesion. Uneven and damaged substrates should be first smoothed and repaired. The existing dirt, layers of low-strength, as well as elastic, lime and adhesive paint coatings should be removed. CT 174 MACHINE can be applied when the priming paint CT 16 becomes completely dry.

APPLICATION OF CERESIT CT 174 MACHINE

The whole content of the container should be carefully stirred. The consistency should be adjusted on the base of spraying machine demands. Before starting proper application on the facade, sample application should be made setting right consistency of material, fluency, nozzle size, delivery rate and operating pressure. Place the nozzle vertically, approx. 40-60 cm from the wall and spray the surface with smooth moves keeping right angle to the wall. CERESIT CT 174 MACHINE should be applied on the substrate using spraying devices also with gun.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE WHEN USING CERESIT CT 174 MACHINE

Application should be performed in the ambient and substrate temperature ranging from +5 °C to +30 °C and the humidity below 80 %. This product should not be mixed with other plasters, pigments, resins and binders. The rooms where the material has been applied should be aired. In case of contact with eyes, they should be rinsed with water and a general practitioner should be consulted.
