CERESIT® CM 16 tile adhesive is designed for laying ceramic, vitrified, porcelain, mosaic, granite, sand stone and marble tiles (non-sensitive). CERESIT CM 16 is easy to apply and perfect for walls and floors, inside and outside. It can be also used in areas such as swimming pools and wet areas with extended water penetration like bathrooms, kitchens and toilets, utility rooms and on surfaces such as balconies and terraces and over underfloor heating.Available pack size: 25 kg.

Very good flexibility, absorbing substrate deformation
Prepare the substrate and make sure it is not wet. Cement and concrete screeds must be fully cured prior to application of CERESIT CM 16. Any existing dirt, loose layers and paint coating shall be mechanically removed. Absorbent substrates shall be primed and left to dry. Surface unevenness up to 5 mm can be filled on the previous day with CM 16.
MIx CERESIT CM 16 (25kg) with 5.25L - 5.75L of water water using a slow speed drill until a homogenous mass without lumps is achieved. Leave for 2 minutes and then mix again.
Apply CERESIT CM 16 flex tile adhesive with a suitable notched trowel on the substrate. For indoor use, the tile adhesive should cover at least 65% of the tiles backside. For outdoor uses, the back-buttering method should be followed to cover at least 90% of the tiles backside. Place the tiles only during the open time of the CM 16 adhesive.
CERESIT CM 16 is suitable to be applied on indoor and outdoor areas and recommended for porcelain and ceramic tiles indoor and outdoor for wet areas on floors and walls and for large tiles up to 80cm.
CERESIT CM 16 is a flexible tile adhesive for indoors and outdoors can be used on substrates such as concrete, cement screeds and plasters, cement and lime plasters. CM 16 indoors can be also used on anhydrite substrates and gypsum substrates and aerated concrete (dust-free and primed).
Application of CERESIT CM 16 should be carried out in dry conditions, with the air and ground temperature from +5 °C to +40 °C.
