CERESIT® CS 25 Sanitary silicone is used for sealing connections for ceramic tiles in the corners, in the places of touching points between walls and floors. CS 25 is highly water resistant and protects joints from water retention and comes in different colour choices to accompany the colour of the tiles and grouts. UV resistant, CS 25 provides excellent adhesion on different material types.Available pack size: 300 ml.
Before application of CERESIT CS 25 make sure to prepare the substrate and ensure to have it clean, dry, damp-free and cleaned with solvent (glass, aluminium). CS 25 always stays elastic and therefore is recommended for compounds that are active. Joints must be secured with tape so that extra amounts of silicone doesn't go over the joint surface.
Cut the tip of the funnel cap according to the width of the joints. CERESIT CS 25 needs to be applied with the silicone gun directly on the joint surface which should be then evened with spatula soaked in the soap and water mixture. After application of CS 25, remove the tape you used for the joint preparation.
After application of CERESIT CS 25, make sure to even the joints within 5 to 10 minutes. Undried material can be removed with solvent and dried parts can be removed only mechanically. CS 25 should be left to dry minimum 30 minutes and maximum 3 hours.
CERESIT CS 25 is a high quality sanitary silicone that is used for sealing of joints in kitchens, bathrooms, toilets. CS 25 is purposed to be applied on the joint of ceramic tiles in areas where the connection between walls and floors is made due to high workability of the surface.
CERESIT CS 25 doesn't stick to surfaces like rubber, bitumen, tar, teflon and polyethylene. Do not apply CS 25 on corrosive metal surfaces such as lead, copper, zinc, iron and construction materials which leak oil or solvent.
The ideal temperature for application of CERESIT CS 25 is between +5 and +40°C. Data given in the technical data sheet is based on a temperature of +23°C and relative air humidity 50%. Different weather conditions can also affect if CS 25 will dry faster or slower.
