CERESIT® CT 44 is designed to paint mineral surfaces, inside and outside buildings . Recommended for painting facade thermal insulation systems. Resistant to intensive, repeated washing, can be used in premises where durable, wear-resistant coating is required. Suitable for protection against carbonization of concrete surfaces. CERESIT CT 44 may be applied on carrying, smooth, dry and clean substrates, free from any substances that decrease adhesion. Firstly, uneven and damaged substrates should be repaired. It is recommended to check the strength of the existing mineral layers. The existing dirt, layers of low strength, lime and adhesive paint coatings, the remainders of wall paper or glues should be completely removed.
Before the paint application, the content of the container should be carefully stirred by means of a drill with a mixer for about 2 minutes. Between the application of the subsequent layers the 4- to 6-hour technological breaks should be maintained. CERESIT CT 44 should be applied evenly by means of a brush, roller or a sprinkling device. Application is possible with spray machine using pressure machines.
Application should be performed in dry conditions with the ambient and substrate temperature ranging from +5 °C to +25°C and the humidity below 80 %. The paint may cause decolouration impossible to be removed, therefore all the elements in contact with CERESIT CT 44 should be protected. Skin and eyes should be protected. Protective gloves and glasses should be worn while applying the paint.
CERESIT CT 44 can be used for painting mineral plasters, acrylic plasters applied on traditional substrates and within CERESIT ETICS. This paint is a part of the concrete repair and concrete protection system CERESIT PCC.
CERESIT CT 44 can be applied on the mineral substrates: concrete, cement plasters, lime–cement plasters and lime plasters.
