CERESIT® CT 84 EXPRESS STD is a PU adhesive used for fixing EPS and XPS thermal insulation boards within CERESIT Ceretherm thermal insulation façade systems. Ceresit CT 84 Express STD can be used for bonding expanded polystyrene (EPS) and extruded polystyrene (XPS) thermal insulation on new masonry buildings as well as on those undergoing thermal insulation renovation. Available packaging: 750 ml metal can.

CERESIT CT 84 adheres very well to mineral bearing surfaces. In case of temperatures low temperatures, the surfaces to which CERESIT CT 84 must be protected from frost. The adhesion of existing plaster and paint coatings must be checked beforehand. Any surface contaminated with other non-adherent substances or surfaces with poor adhesion to the substrate must be removed.
Shake the tube vigorously for a few seconds, then remove the valve cover, then screw the applicator gun so that the vial to be down the valve. The valve opens by twisting. After screwing the applicator gun, the valve opens and the adhesive can be removed by pressing the trigger. CERESIT CT 84 should be applied with the gun so that the can to be down the valve. When applying polystyrene plates on a previous thermal insulation, CERESIT CT 84 applies on the perimeter.
CERESIT CT 84 adhesive allows to lower the temperature below 0°C within 8 hours of application. It contains substances harmful to health. During application, it is recommended to wear glasses and protective gloves should be used. The tube contains compressed flammable gas, therefore you must away from sources of heat and should not be kept in the temperature above +50°C. The tube must not be punctured or thrown into fire.
CERESIT CT 84 Express Plus is used for fixing tiles expanded and extruded polystyrene as well as mineral wool, in the CERESIT facade insulation system Ceretherm Express. CERESIT CT 84 Express Plus can be used for the application of polystyrene boards and mineral wool boards on both the facades of new buildings as well as buildings to be renovated.
CERESIT CT 84 can be applied on expanded and extruded polystyrene, mineral wool, wood, OSB, glass, metal, concrete, bituminous surfaces.
