      Product Description

      CERESIT® CT 17 TRANSPARENT is a solvent-free universal primer for substrates (walls, floors, ceilings) indoor and outdoor prior to fixing ceramic tiles, pouring floors, fixing floor lining, papering, puttying, painting, or fixing thermal insulation boards. Substrates primed with CT 17 TRANSPARENT (all kinds of absorbent substrates) are of lower absorbency, which prevents too rapid over drying of adhesive mortars, flooring, putties and paints. Available canister size: 5 l and 10 l.

      SUBSTRATE PREPARATION FOR APPLICATION OF CERESIT CT 17 TRANSPARENT

      CERESIT CT 17 TRANSPARENT adheres to all solid, load-bearing, clean, dry and damp surfaces that are free of separating substances. Unstable zones must be completely removed mechanically. The surface must have a rough, porous and non-slip structure.

      MIXING OF CERESIT CT 17 TRANSPARENT

      Use the primer in diluted form (1:1 with water) or undiluted depending on the type and absorbency of the substrate. In the case of priming substrates for floors, pour CERESIT CT 17 TRANSPARENT on the substrate and distribute it evenly, without forming puddles.

      APPLICATION OF CERESIT CT 17 TRANSPARENT

      Apply the product to the substrate with a brush or roller. CERESIT CT 17 TRANSPARENT dries in approx. 2 hours. In the case of gluing ceramic tiles on cement and cement-lime substrates, work can be started as early as 15 minutes after priming.
