How to use

CERESIT CT 34 SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

CERESIT CT 34 can be applied to substrates that are even, load-bearing, dry and free from grease, bitumen, dust and other substances that reduce adhesion. It is recommended to prime dry and very absorbent substrates, especially walls made of aerated concrete blocks and silicate blocks with CERESIT CT 17. Then a reinforced layer should be made. Substrates may be additionally painted with CERESIT CT 16 quartz primer.

APPLICATION OF CERESIT CT 34

Put the contents of the pack into a measured quantity of water and mix until a homogeneous mass without lumps is obtained. Apply the plaster onto the prepared substrate with a metal float. After the material has set, i.e. after about 90 minutes, it should be trowelled with a sponge float. The maximum thickness of the plaster layer is 5 mm. After complete drying, i.e. after about 24 hours, the plaster may be painted.
